Description

6650-01-X01-6267: LEASE ICP EMISSION SPECTROMETER which will be used by the Environmental Laboatory to perform environmental compliance monitoring and qualify assurance testing for Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA). The unit will be located at Bldg. 32-130 in a climate-controlled environment. The spectrometer computer will be connected to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) from BEST Power Technologies. Analytical data must be electronically transferred to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) provided by Analytical Automation Specialists of Baton Rouge, LA (LABWORKS Explorer -- MS Windows NT Version). Following are some of the requirements, and are not all inclusive: 1. The instrument must be a simultaneous, dual-view ICP Optical Emission Spectrometer using solid state detector technology; 2. must have a polychromator that utilizes Segmented Charge Coupled Device detectors; 3. Plasma viewing must b4e computer controlled; 4. The system must have the ability to view the torch both axially and radially in the same analyatical method; 5. The instrument must include a Schmidt cross dispersing grating to correct for spherical aberation, and ETC. There are approximately 60 requirements which will be provided in the solicitation package. This is an unrestricted acquisition. QUANTITY: 1 Year with two (2) Option Years. Base Year Performance Period projected: 01 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002. F.O.B. Destination, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas. Source Evaluation is applicable and award will be based upon "Best Value" to the Government.
