Description

89 -- Subsistence -- Eggs delivered to 52 of the Defense Commissary Agency's (DeCA) commissaries in the Northern Area, Eastern Region. Commissaries require various quantities of jumbo, extra large, large and medium shell fresh eggs in white and brown for delivery July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002, with two one-year option periods. This acquisition will be solicited unrestricted. The contract type will be indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity, fixed-price with a special factor added to the weekly market price. The 52 stores are clustered in 5 groups. Contractors must submit offers on all stores in a group. Awards will be made on an all or none basis. One contract will be awarded for each group. The Government requires weekly delivery. Estimated quantities are: Group 1 -- 2,362,576 dozen, Group 2 -- 1,059,856 dozen, Group 3 -- 686,597 dozen, Group 4 -- 2,365-608 dozen, and Group 5 -- 1,466,881 dozen. 50% of the estimated value of the contract will be guaranteed for purchases.
