Description

Western Area Power Administration's (Western's) Rocky Mountain Region located in Loveland, Colorado has a requirement for on-site Information Technology, Administrative and Technical support services. It is anticipated that the requirement will be for one (1) base year with four (4) one-year options. The number of labor hours required for the base year is estimated at 115,620 hours and the number of labor hours required for the full five-year period is estimated at 578,100 hours. These services will be preformed primarily at the Rocky Mountain Regional Office in Loveland, Colorado, however, other areas are included and identified in the solicitation. Specific tasks and a description of the required labor categories will be provided in the statement of work. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for 8(a) participation, and has been offered and accepted as a national buy requirement by the Small Business Administration. All responsible 8(a) concerns may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS code is 541513 and the size standard is $18 million. The Request for Proposals will be available on or about April 23, 2001, and can be accessed through Western's home page at www.wapa.gov/cso/procurmt/solicit.htm. The RFP and supporting materials will be in MS WordTM 97 (.doc), MS ExcelTM 97 (.xls) or in ADOBE ReaderTM (.pdf) format, depending on the nature of the documents. No other distribution of the solicitation will be utilized and requests for paper copies of the RFP will not be accepted. A preproposal conference will be conducted in Loveland, Colorado, after solicitation issuance. The specific date and time will be included in the solicitation. Vendors are strongly encouraged to visit this website frequently for the release of the solicitation and any related documents, such as solicitation amendments and preproposal conference minutes. It is anticipated that a cost plus award fee contract will be awarded as a result of this request for proposal. This requirement is a follow-on to contract DE-AC65-96WJ29502 which was awarded to System Technology Associates, Inc.
