Description

CBD SYNOPSIS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL RECEIVE NO RESPONSE. The Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS) Program Office, Material Systems Group, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, plans to contract on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Information Systems (LMIS), Orlando, Florida. The contract will be a follow-on effort covering operations, maintenance (O&M), and support of the AFEMS as well as the initiation and continuation of applications technical refresh. Ongoing activities include integration of the Classified Equipment Requirements Computation System (CERC), integration of functions to permit Chief Financial Officer (CFO) expansion of asset/cost reporting, and integration of AFEMS into the Global Combat Support System-Air Force (GCSS-AF) architecture. AFEMS is the single source for total visibility of all USAF equipment and drives logistics decisions across all Major Commands from base level through HQ USAF. Among the above noted ongoing activities, the GCSS-AF integration task requires an in-depth understanding of the GCSS-AF Infrastructure Framework requirements and modeling techniques, which have been gained by LMIS through its close and continuing coordination with the GCSS-AF integration contractor, Lockheed Martin Systems Integration-Owego (LMSI-O). Anticipated contract type is fixed price. Information associated with this program is classified up to and including SECRET/NOFORN. The Standard Industrial Classification for this acquisition is 541519.
