Description

Furnish all facilities, equipment, management, labor, vehicles, transportation, supplies, and materials necessary to launder and press Battle Dress Uniforms (BDUs) for the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) cadets at Fort Knox, Kentucky, during the period 13 June 2001 through 23 July 2001. Services include, but are not limited to, pickup and delivery of laundry no later than 9:00 a.m. in accordance with a specific schedule as outlined in the Statement of Work, counting item by item, along with a Government representative, at the point of receipt as well as the point of return, providing a suitable marking system to identify individual cadet BDUs without damaging garments, and returning BDU's in matched sets on wire hangers. Contractor will be required to launder a small number of contaminated pieces. The estimated total number of pieces to be laundered is 28,000. The contractor shall be allowed three (3) working days to launder, press and return BDU's. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812332; the size classification is $10,500,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about 9 April 2001 with proposals being due on or about 8 May 2001. Solicitation packages will not be faxed to contractors.
