Description

Provide barge services for the transportation of cargo from Honolulu, Oahu to Kalaupapa, Molokai with definite sail dates of July 7th or July 14th. Must be daylight arrival and departure only. Barge must be single deck, able to load/unload using low tide designation. Must be able to offload cargo onto wharf/pier without use of motorized lifts and provide forklift for unloading containers. Must be accessible for motorized vehicles, such as drive on/drive off cargo. Certified for transporting two (2) gasoline filled double tanker fuel trucks (approximately 37,000 gallons) and one (1) diesel filled fuel tanker (approximately 11,000 gallons). Able to transport approximately fifteen (15) large closed containers (various sizes of 10' and 20'), ten (10) open deck, stackable various size containers, and palletized cargo. Contractor to provide containers. Must meet Federal, State and local transportation, handling and associated safety regulations and ordinances. The Government will use the following evaluation factors, each having equal importance: a) Past Performance b) Price. Potential contractors should submit their past performance references along with their quote.
