Description

Town Bluff, Concrete Abutment Repair; Work will include removing the undermined concrete slab adjacent to the Tainter Gated Control Structure wingwall. The work area is on the downstream side of the embankment. Steel H pile will be driven to act as a vertical joint seal between wingwall concrete monoliths. Soil fill will be placed and a new concrete slab placed. Water stops will be provided between the existing concrete and the new concrete slab. Estimated duration of the contract will be 120 days. The estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. The plans and specifications, when available, will be issued as "Internet Only". Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format. Notification of amendments will be made through either 3.5 floppy diskettes, CD-ROM, and/or Internet only. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any amendments to this solicitation. It is the offerors responsibility to view our web site daily for amendments to the solicitation. Contractors may view /download this solicitation and all amendments from the internet after solicitation issuance at the Internet address listed below; however, all offerors are encouraged to visit the Army's Single Face to Industry website at: http://acquisition.army.mil/default .htm to view other business opportunities across the Army.
