- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA is soliciting proposals to procure the following on a full and open competition basis: 60 sets of Telemetry Antenna System Assemblies including three options for an additional 20 Telemetry Antenna System Subsystems for a total of 120 sets; and 60 sets of Command Destruct Antenna System Subsystems including three options for an additional 20 Command Destruct Antenna System Assemblies for a total of 120 sets. Both antenna systems will be used in the HARM missile telemetry test sections. The Telemetry Antenna System set shall operate at 240.2MHz and shall be defined as four antennas, four connecting cables, and a power divider. The Command Destruct Antenna System set shall operate at 439MHz and shall be defined as two antennas, two connecting cables and a power combiner. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract for this effort. First Article Testing will be required on a specified quantity of both Telemetry and Command Destruct Antenna Systems unless the exact product proposed by the contractor has been produced in the last 12 months at the same facility using the same processes and equipment. Delivery will be FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, California, 240 days after contract award or notification of exercise of options. Partial Deliveries are acceptable. Award is scheduled to occur by 31 August 2001. The offeror selected for award will be that offeror determined to be most advantageous to the Government based on the evaluation conducted. The evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 25 April 2001, and will be available through the Contract Competency homepage Web site at: http://www.nawcwpns.navy.mil/~contract/homepubl.htm. The drawing packages will not be available on-line and will be made available in hardcopy only. Limit one copy per offeror. Offerors are responsible for requesting copies of drawing packages in sufficient time to permit receiving a hardcopy via the U.S. Mail, although packages will not be mailed before the RFP is posted to the Website. The Government anticipates a 30-day response time for receipt of proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 26.
