Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued Request for Quotation (RFQ BLM-#FAQ010038). The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 3812. Delivery will be FOB Destination. DOI/Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office intends to purchase six (6) each Trimble Navigation TRS Trade-In Kit #1-Pathfinder Pro XL to Pro XR upgrade (receiver only) Part #39444-10-ENG (includes 12-channel Pathfinder Pro XR receiver which has integrated Maxwell chip and is GPS/beacon differential capable). Additionally, six (6) each 1 Year Software/Firmware Support Agreements TRS with Pro XR (without Pathfinder Office) Part #41075-61. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. All offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or clauses, cited in clause 52.215-5; 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.225-3 Buy American Act-Supplies; Year 2000 Warranty -- Commercial Supply Items.
