Description

The Operational Contracting Division at Hanscom AFB, MA intends to make an award on a sole source basis to KLA-TENCOR Corp for P-10 surface profiler, The following requirements are essential: Performance: 8A guaranteed measurement repeatability, Windows NT 4.0 OS- Software Platform, 4A- typical repeatability, 300um- Vertical range, 1- 50 mg Status Force, Hardware; 60 mm Scan Length, 210 mm Stage Diameter, 150x150 mm Stage Travel, 2um Stage Repeatability, 63.5 mm Max Sample thickness, Pentium 133MHz Microprocessor, Capacitive (low noise) Stylus Mechanism, Bi-directional Scan, Motorized Stage, Motorized Level & Theta, 2.2kg (4.85lb) Maximum Sample Weight, 150-600X Motorized Zoom Optics, Dual View (Top and Side) Optical View, 50 -- 1000 Hz Data Sampling Rate, Vacuum Chuck, Software; Fit 7 Level, Auto cursor Placement, Max View 3-D Photo Realistic Image Rendering Software, 39 Analytical Functions, unlimited Data Points per scan, in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory Electromagnetics Technology Division. If a firm believes it can satisfy the requirements described above, it must submit published specification sheets or product catalogue(s) that clearly identifies the firm's products, which meet the government's requirements. The firm must also submit a product price list (s) relevant to the acquisition. All responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a purchase award will be issued. If a purchase award is issued no additional synopsis will be published. Any such purchase award will be issued to the intended vendor only.
