Description

RFP-R6-8-01-07, REPUBLIC FLOOD REPAIR PROJECTS; This project consists of reconstruction of existing forest roads at various sites on the Republic Ranger District. Work includes clearing, excavating, installing culverts, developing riprap quarry, placing and compacting backfill, geotextile placement, stream bank armoring, and regrading of roads and ditches. Project is located at 5 separate sites on the Republic Ranger District. McMann Cr. (Site CNF-00-36) from Republic, travel approx. 5.5 mi. South on S.R. 21 to Forest Rd. 2053500, take 2053500 approx. .5 mi. to site. Ninemile Cr (Site CNF- 53-19) from Republic, travel east on S.R. 20.7 miles to the junction with Co. Rd. 99 (Hall Cr. Rd.) then travel south 0.5 miles to the junction with Forest Rd. 2053, travel west and then south on Forest Rd. 2053 4 miles to the junction with Forest Rd. 2053600 and travel 2 miles on Forest Rd. 2053600 to the site. Bracken Cr (Site CNF-40-91) from Republic, travel approx. 3 mi. on S.R. 20 to the junction with S.R. 21, then travel north on S.R. 21, 1 mile, to the junction with Co. Rd. 280, travel east 2 miles on Co. Rd. 280 to the junction with Co. Rd. 287, travel northeast on Co. Rd. 287, 2 miles past mine complex to Forest Rd. 2152, travel north east on Forest Rd. 2152, 2.3 miles to the junction with Forest Rd. 2040, and travel 0.1 mile on F.R. 2040 to the site. Lambert Cr (Site CNF 54-02) from the junction of S.R. 20 and S.R. 21, travel north on S.R. 21, 8 miles to the junction with Co. Rd. 546 (Lambert Creek Rd.), travel southeast on Co. Rd. 546, 4 miles to the junction with Forest Rd. 2154, and travel, 0.1 miles on Forest Rd. 2154 to the site. Lambert Trailhead (Site CNF-56-10) from the junction of Co. Rd. 546 and Forest Rd. 2154, continue traveling southeast on Co. Rd. 546 then Forest Rd. 2156, 2.3 miles to the site. Estimate start work date is July 1, 2001, estimated value of the solicitation is $250,000 -- $500,000. This solicitation is a HubZone set-aside.
