Description

Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete JFSD 950005, Paint Water Tower 674 in strict accordance with the Technical Provisions and drawings. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a magnitude of $100,000 minimum and $500,000 maximum. The period of performance has yet to be determined. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds will be required. The government is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for HUBZone concerns only. If you are a HUBZone firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by e-mail to darrell.may@grandforks.af.mil. Your response must include a positive statement of your remaining bonding capacity, list of similar jobs involving painting water towers or other high structures within the last three years including references and all contract now in progress. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your response in requested by 19 April 01. If you do not reply by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses from HUBZone concerns, this acquisition will either be a HUBZone set-aside or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. We estimate solicitation will be issued 25 April 01. All contractors MUST certify by stating that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the Central Contractor Registration at website http://ww.safaq.hq.af.mil/contracting/ccr0.html. This solicitation will only be available by downloading the solicitation file at website http://www.eps.gov. No paper copies or CD-ROM's will be issued.
