Description

SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The work on the right abutment and at the upstream toe of the earthen dam the contractor shall drill approximately 80 holes to be pressure cement grouted and approximately 10 core holes (test holes); holes will be approximately 150 to 240 feet deep depending on their location. Holes will be drilled through silt overburden and into cemented and uncemented gravels. Core holes are 3 inches in diameter. Grout holes will be drilled with 4 inch air rotary and down hole hammer drilling equipment. One piezometer will be constructed. The estimated cost range for this job is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Classification System code is 235810. The Small business size standard are average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $11.5M. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which may be considered. If a large business is selected for this contract it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on that portion of the work it intends to subcontract. The intended subcontracting goals are that a minimum of 61.4% of the contractor's intended subcontract amount be placed with Small businesses including 9.1% with Small Disadvantaged businesses. The plan must contain a goal of 5% with Woman-Owned small businesses and 1% with Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBZone). The plan is not required with the submittal of a bid. All responsible business sources may submit an offer, which may be considered.
