Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement for up to 588 single stage, single thrust solid fuel propellant for the MK112, Mod 1 Rocket Motors in support of the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) program. This will be a full and open competition. Solicitation will be for an initial purchase of 68 motors with the potential for 510 in FY 02 and FY03. Responses should include: (1) a brief description of corporate capability, including past experience with MK112 Mod 1 type single stage, single thrust solid fuel propellant; (2) company product and production capability or equivalent type; and (3) any other relevant information. This synopsis does not constitute a request for proposals and the Government assumes no liability for costs incurred by firms providing information in response to this synopsis. See Numbered Note 22
