Description

This is a combined synopsis-/-solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is N00244-01-T-0585. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. This solicitation is issued on a restricted basis, under Standard Industrial Code 2298and/or NAICS Code 314991 with a small business standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation can be downloaded from the NECO web site at www.neco.navy.mil look under business opportunities. FISC San Diego has a requirement for the following: CLIN 0001 Amsteel Blue Rope Assy, size 1" X 1500 ft. Part Number 72500G1414COL. Line must be continuous (not to be spliced together) and be color coded red with identifying length markers every 100 feet. Stainless steel hard eye at one end butt end at the other. Quantity 1 each. CLIN 0002 Amsteel Blue Rope Assy. Size 1" X 1500 feet. Part Number 72500G1414COL. Line must be continuous (not to be spliced together). Line will be colored yellow with identifying markers every 100 feet. Stainless Steel Hard eye at one end butt end at the other. Quantity 1 each. CLIN 0003 Amsteel Blue Rope Assy. Size 1-1/2" X 1300 feet. Part Number 10843333G414COL. Line must be continuous (not to be spliced together). Line will be colored blue with identifying markers every 100 feet. Stainless steel hard eye at one end butt end at the other. Quantity 1 each. CLIN 0004 Amsteel Blue Rope Assy. Size 1-1/2" X 1300 feet, Part Number 10843333G414COL. Line must be continuous (not to be spliced together). Line will be colored gray with identifying markers every 100 feet. Stainless steel hard eye at one end butt end at the other. Quantity 1 each. Required delivery is to Deep Submergence Unit NAS North Island, San Diego, CA. Acceptance shall be at destination.
