Description

REQUEST FOR SOURCES OF SUPPLY FOR COMMERCIAL SPARE PARTS STORAGE CABINETS The Army has need of transportable spare parts storage cabinets for use by Army maintenance personnel both while in their home garrisons and while deployed to the field. The cabinets will be purchased in standard sets, consisting of one cabinet with small drawers, one cabinet with large drawers, and two cabinets with both drawers and enclosed shelving. Any color is acceptable. Each cabinet is to be roughly four feet wide, two feet deep, and five feet high. The drawers and shelves shall be rated for an evenly distributed load of at least 400 pounds each. The cabinets must withstand transport while loaded with parts. If a vendor proposes a "commercial item" equivalent to the Spare Parts Storage Cabinets described above, they shall provide (the government) a specification sheet/company catalog/literature of the commercial Spare Parts Storage Cabinets.
