Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. A quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F34612-01-Q0007 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. Funds are not currently available though are expected. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business and is under NAICS code 339999, with a small business size standard of 500. This requirement is being solicited Brand Name or Equal, manufacturer being Anchor Industries, Inc. 1100 Burch Drive, P.O. Box 3477, Evansville, IN, 47733. Requirement consists of the following: 2 Each 'Funbrella,' 20 foot diameter umbrella, 17' height, shall rest approximately 14 feet above ground level. Turquoise and Vanilla stripes. Hidden stainless steel cable winch in central mast with removable crank handle. 4" diameter pole, with 3' aluminum ground insert. Fabric of umbrella shall be 100% acrylic. It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 205 s. 6th St Bldg. 318, Altus AFB, OK 73523-5147 at or before 1630 (4:30 p.m.) CST, 13 April 2001. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form complete with color brochure or color samples/swatches. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-7472. The government reserves the right to make award without discussions. FAR clause 52.212-4 (May 1999), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1998). The clauses at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Sep 1999) and at 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, apply to this acquisition and are incorporated by reference.
