Description

This is a "Sources Sought Notice" issued by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for the purpose of conducting market research on companies providing dental and vision benefits. OCC employees are currently offered a choice of two dental options: the Traditional Dental Plan (an indemity plan) and a dental Health Maintenace Organization. The Traditional Plan incorporates a Preferred Provider Organization. There are no benefit differentials for traditional vs. preferred dental elect to change options during the annual enrollment period. The current OCC vision plan is a PPO plan that provides a schedule of benefits and is provided on a non-contributory basis. There are no benefit differentials for traditional vs. preferred vision coverage. The OCC is interested in looking at a managed vision network. All interested vendors are requested to provided a Capability Package either electronically at the following address in Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF) at the following address: deirdre.eischens@occ.treas.gov. Alternatively, the package may be sent by mail to the following address: Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Attn: Deirdre Eischens, 250 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20219. The Government may conduct a pre-solicitation conference and will post the date and time on www.eps.gov. A solicitation will be available at a later date. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this sources sought announcement or otherwise pay for any information or inquiry. This sources sought does not constitute a commitment by the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
