Description

This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Program Information Systems Mission Services (PrISMS) issued under Ref. No. 1-1-A3-60170 which was posted on March 27, 2001. You are notified that the following changes are made: The one-year extension described is planned to Contract No. NAS8-60000. This contract requires the incumbent contractor (Computer Sciences Corp.) to manage, be responsible for, and provide information services to meet the requirements of the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Information Services Department (ISD) and its customers. In providing this mission, the contractor must: (a) operate and maintain existing equipment and software; (b) gather, analyze, define, and document systems requirements; and (c) plan, design, develop or acquire, integrate, test, and implement new systems or enhancements to existing systems. The mission services of this contract include the following: (a) MSFC Information Services for the various programs and projects for which MSFC is responsible. Information services include applications software, computer systems, telephone, audio/video, and other defined services. (b) Agencywide Information Management Services: These services include development and maintenance of Agencywide applications, services, and systems delegated to MSFC, as well as general support to NASA and the NASA ADP Consolidation Center (NACC). The due date for receipt of information or proposals (as described in Note 22) is not extended. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
