Description

THIS ACTION IS AUTHORIZED EXCLUSIVELY AS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH STANDARD & POOR'S DRI. The Department plans to procure contract services with DRI to obtain a subscription to DRI's on-line databanks to receive regular macro-economic and regional forecasts and data, economic and housing model services, and custom data preparation. This acquisition is being pursued under the FEDLINK program. The anticipated period of performance is six (6) months. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302, and FAR Parts 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures) and 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all capability statements received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed Purchase Order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
