Description

The Arkansas National Guard requires a Cost-Per-Copy Copier service contract that will consist of 1 base year and 3 options. This contract will require a vendor to supply approximately 200 copiers to National guard facilities across the state of Arkansas under one contract as well as maintenance for this period. The total number of copiers awarded within this contract will be comprised of analog, digital with the capabilities of connectivity in the future and fully digitial at the commencement of the contract. The specific features required are as follows: Volume Band 1 copiers: 12 cpm, letter size, 1000 copies per month, w/one paper tray capable of holding at least 250 sheets and SADF; Volume Band 2 copiers: 20 CPM, letter size, 2,500 to 15,000 copies per month, w/a minimum of two paper trays, sorter and automatic duplexing; Volume Band 3 copiers: 28 cpm, letter size, 5,000 to 30,000 copies per month, w/3 paper trays or stack feeders one of which has a minumum capacilty of 500 sheets, ADF, sorter, fully automatic duplexing and stapling; Volume Band 4 copiers: 40 cpm, letter size, 15,000 to 50,000 copies per month, w/at least 3 paper trays or stack feeders, one of which must have a minimum capacity of 500 sheets, ADF, sorter, fully automatic duplexing and stapling and offset stacking. All volume bands will have the programmable access code feature. All consumable supplies (except paper), operations and maintenance/services of the copiers shall be supplied by the vendor awarded this contract. Eventual contract award will be based on the best value. Evalustion criteria in the order of precedence is as follows: 1. Vendor possessing sufficient workforce to service entire state; 2. Prior experience with large Cost-Per-Copy; 3. Machine capabilities; 4. Service response time; 5. cost. Proposals not providing all information requested in the solicitation package will be found to be technically unacceptable. This solicitation is issued on a full and open competition basis. Vendors may be required to demeonstrate their products. the Request for Proposal will be available o/a 23 June 2001. Completed proposals will be in this office (DSCLOG-PC) o/a 6 August 2001. The projected contract award date is o/a 7 December 2001/ A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled o/a 22 May 2001.
