Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a purchase order on a sole-source basis to Five Star Speakers, 8685 West 96th Street, Overland Park, KS 66212 for five (5) presentations by Debra Fines on the topic _The Fine Art of Small Talk_. In this program you will learn how to: Start a conversation and keep it going, develop business friendships, handle awkward situations, become an _active_ listener, revive a dying conversation, avoid conversation _killer,_ come up with topics to discuss, overcome communication barriers, approach social functions with confidence and prepare for successful conversation. Five (5) presentations shall be held in the following cities throughout the U.S.: June 2001 _ Dallas, TX; June 2001 -- San Francisco, CA; June 2001 -- Long Beach, Ca; to be determined -- Chicago, IL and to be determined _ Atlanta, GA. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit written quotations within 15 days from the posted date of this announcement. No solicitations will be issued, therefore such requests for solicitations will be considered non responsive. Evaluation/award will be based on the lowest price to the government. All quotes shall include price(s); FOB point; a POC (name and telephone number); GSA contract number if applicable; delivery date; business size and payment terms. Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. All questions must be submitted in writing and received by facsimile on (202) 283-1511 or mail. If no responses are received the award will be made to Five Star Speakers. Numbered Note 22 applies to this acquisition.
