Description

This Amendment 0001 is being issued to correct a combined synopsis/solicitation number N00173-01-R-HA02, issued on 16 March 2001 for the acquisition of CLIN 0001 -- a Theta Theta XRD System. The first sentence of the description in the Specifications under the website: http://heron.nrl.navy.mil/contracts/rfplist.htm for the Anode and X-ray generator, should be restated as follows: An X-ray generator with a maximum output power of 3.0 kW and an operating current and voltage of 60 kW and 60mA is required. The equipment should have a diffracted beam monochromator for both powder diffraction and parallel beam applications on the specified "diffracted beam monochromator" called for in the "Optics" section of the Specification.
