Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD) intends to acquire engineering support services to independently develop the necessary material and support data that is needed to support the overall F/A-18E/F Aircraft and its associated Training System Configuration Management System. The F/A-18 Configuration Management Support Plan shall describe the proposed configuration management program, how it would be organized, how it would be conducted, and the methods, procedures, and controls used to assure effective configuration identification and support, change control, status accounting, and audits of the total configuration, including hardware, software and firmware. No contract award will be made on the basis of any quotation received in response to this notice. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 15 days after the date of this synopsis. This is a simplified acquisition with a value below $100,000. The action is set- aside 100% for Small Business on a competitive basis. The small business size standard North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541641. The size standard is $5 million. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis. The period of performance shall be 6 months from the date of contract award with two (2) additional six (6) months options for extension. See Notes 1 and 25.
