Description

The United Staes Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) intends to issue a solicitation in support of the EPA Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) and the Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA)for advisory and assistance services support for enforcement and compliance monitoring; permitting development and review; waste management reduction; corrective action; program planning; and evaluation and management of hazardous and solid waste for the EPA, the States and Indian Tribes in accordance with and pursuant to Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), as amended by the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments. It is the Government's intent to possibly award a maximum of three (3)cost-plus fixed-fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE) term contracts resulting from this solicitation. Two (2)contracts will be awarded through the full and open competitive process; and one (1) will be 8(a)competitive. The resulting contracts will support the EPA's Zone III which incorporates Regions 7 (Headquartered in Kansas City, KS, includes the states of Nebraska,Kansas,Iowa and Missouri), 8 (Headquarted in Denver, CO, includes the states of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming,Utah and Colorado), 9 (Headquarted in San Francisco,CA includes Nevada, California, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam and Arizona)and 10 (Headquarted in Seattle, WA, includes Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington). The anticipated LOE capacity of each contract may range between 30,000 and 55,000 hours. An individual offeror may receive only one award. The subject solicitation, PR HQ-0011879, will be released circa May 15, 2001. The solicitation, any amendments, or items pertinent to the solicitation will be posted to the web site indicated below for viewing and downloading.
