Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is seeking independent Certified Public Accountant 8(a) firms nationwide to support the PBGC "Premium Compliance Review Program." The primary objective of the Premium Compliance Review Program is to assess compliance with PBGC premium regulations and filing requirements. Reports issued by contractors will provide input as to whether plan sponsors have paid PBGC the appropriate amount of premiums and met other filing requirements. The Contractor shall provide professional audit services, on a Task Order basis, supportive of the PBGC's Contracts and Controls Review Department (CCRD). The Contractor shall be a licensed CPA firm that meets applicable State Board of Accountancy requirements. Firms that have performed premium compliance reviews, audits of defined benefit pension plan financial statements, or other compliance work related to ERISA in the past are preferred.
