- This procurement is for the acquisition of a commercial item using simplified acquisition procedures as allowed in the test program defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5. As specified in FAR 13.5 (c), when acquiring commercial items using the procedures in this part, the requirements of FAR Part 12 apply. Accordingly, this is a combined synopsis/solicitation and notice of intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SUBPART 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAHA16-01-Q-0002 is a request for quotation (RFQ) for the CLINs listed below. The item description is as follows: Non-Personnel Service to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to deliver, set up, maintain, and remove ten (10) mobile office trailers, all with electrical hook up and air conditioning. Lease includes delivery, pick-up, and maintenance / repair or replacement. The offeror shall state the unit of issue, price per unit of issue, and state the total price per CLIN. The offeror shall state price per mobile office trailer per day for additional days beyond dates specified in the CLINS. If applicable, the offeror shall state if there is a credit for early turn-in of mobile office trailers. The offeror may propose an alternate delivery / turn-in schedule as long as the stated minimum number of mobile office trailers are available on the required dates. Unless otherwise stated, mobile office trailers will be delivered to the NTC, Fort Irwin, CA according to CLINS by 0900 a.m. on the date required (or on a date / time proposed and agreed upon) and turned-in at the same location at 1700 on the date required (or on a date / time proposed and agreed upon). Effective 31 May 1998, the Government requires that all contractors receiving solicitations, and awards or payments of Government contracts must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Vendors must supply DUNS number and Cage Code with their quote or provide a statement of their intent to obtain them. The solicitation in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. CLIN 0002 Mobile Office Trailers: two (2) each 8 by 20 ft, from 07/23/01 to 08/10/01. CLIN 0003 Mobile Office Trailers: two (2) each 8 by 20 ft, from 06/22/01 to 07/13/01. CLIN 0004 Mobile Office Trailers: four (4) each 12 by 44 ft, from 06/19/01 to 08/04/01. Delivered to Yermo, CA. Request offerors include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with the offer. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
