Description

This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. THE NAICS code is 561210. The size standard is $20.0 Million. The work includes maintenance, repair, and alteration services for approximately 1,421 units of Military Family Housing (MFH) located on-site at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico, Virginia. This will be a source selection procurement for a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity contract for a base and four option periods. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, transportation, and management necessary to provide maintenance, repairs and minor alterations for MFH units and associated utility systems, household equipment, appliances, detached garages and storage structures, playground equipment, and other related real property and facilities in accordance with the contract requirements. Work includes, but is not limited to, the performance of service call work, change of occupancy maintenance (COM), preventive maintenance (PM) and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and other mechanical equipment, interior and exterior painting, operation of the Self-help Store, exterior cleaning, custodial services, and other services as described herein. Services shall be provided as specified in the contract, regardless of whether or not they are required as a result of housing resident caused abuse. The estimated availability of the solicitation will be APRIL 27, 2001. Award will be based on best value to the Government, price and technical factors considered. Selection criteria are: Past Performance, Maintenance Management Approach, and Financial Conditions and Capability.
