Description

This project shall be an unfunded delivery order (multiple award/task order) type contract. The work to be performed includes the following principal features: Provide all plant, labor, material, and equipment as required for emergency electrical utility repairs, Fort Sill, OK. Contractor shall maintain the capability to provide a quick response (located within a 90 mile radius of Fort Sill) time throughout the contract period. Work to be accomplished by this contract shall include providing short term emergency electrical utility services. Repair/replace electrical equipment including but not limited to, electrical distribution overhead and underground power lines, conduit, substations, transformers, fuses, switches, switchgear, capacitor banks, circuit breakers, power poles, and cut tree and/or branch interference. When available, Government Furnished Property will be made available to the Contractor. The foregoing outline of principal features does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all materials required to perform other work which may be required or associated with this type of emergency work. The estimated issue date is 23 Apr 01.
