Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound, is soliciting a Direct Vendor Delivery Contract for various sizes of both softwood and hardwood pallets. This will be a direct vendor delivery for these items at in the Puget Sound area with the majority being delivered to the Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton WA. Deliveries will be FOB Destination. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract. The period of performance will be date of award continuing one year thereafter with 4 options with an economic price adjustment. Award will be based on technically acceptable, price and delivery. This procurement is in accordance with the format in part 12. A FORMAL SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED The government reserves the right to make multiple awards. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Written requests may be faxed to (360) 476-2931 or e-mailed to FISCPS_bid_officer@puget.fisc.navy.mil. This solicitation N00406-01-R-5120 is issued as a request for proposal. Given that this category falls with in the annual forecast as published in the Commerce Business Daily and in accordance with Far 5.203(h) the time frame for publication of the synopsis and receipt of offers has been reduced to 31 days. Responsible sources may submit an offer/proposal which will be considered by FISC Puget Sound. Telephone requests will not be honored.
