Description

Furnish professional A/E services for Upgrade Building Safety and Security; Phase II to prepare contract drawings, specifications and a detailed cost estimate to evaluate the existing security conditions and secure all facility exterior doors located at VA New Jersey Healthcare System, Lyons Campus, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939. All designs shall in compliance with VA design criteria, NFPA, NEC codes, etc. This is a 100% Total SMall Business Set-Aside. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 541310. The small business size standard is $4M. SF 254's and 255's are due in this office by COB 5/4/01. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds. This is not a request for proposal. Firms will be evaluated on Professional Qualifications necessary for satisfactory peformance of required services including professional registration experience and technical competence of the team proposed for this project in related areas of the type of work required; capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; past performance on contracts with Government agencies and privaate industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules.
