Description

Proposals are solicited for the Installation and Location of Forest Inventory and Analysis Program (FIA) plots, USDA Forest Service, Deschutes, Ochoco, Winema and Fremont National Forests. Work consists of the installation of 193 FIA plots over existing Current Vegetative Survey (CVS) plots; installation of 2 new FIA plots; and Global Positioning System (GPS) location reference of all 195 plots. Plots shall be installed utilizing FIA Plot Design. Work shall be performed in accordance with the procedures detailed in "Field Instructions for the Annual Inventory of Oregon and California 2001." Work is expected to begin on or about June 18, 2001 and must be completed not later than November 9, 2001. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Issue date for solicitation will be April 26, 2001.*****
