Description
ID RRP CAMA 101(1), CAMAS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE COMPLEX, Camas National Wildlife Refuge, Jefferson County, Idaho. Initial notice posted to Commerce Business Daily CBDNet on March 20, 2001 and printed issue date of March 23, 2001. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION AS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. Presolicitation notices are being sent to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently with the publication of this synopsis. This project consists of 10.3 km of grading, base, paving, and aggregate surfacing. Project includes: construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; 450 m soil erosion control devices; 3,000 cu m watering for dust control; .4230 ha clearing & grubbing; 4,000 cu m borrow excavation; 10.5 km linear grading; 18,500 t untreated aggregate courses; 1,100 t minor crushed aggregate; 450 t minor hot asphalt concrete; 14,500 sq m conserved topsoil; 1.57 sq m traffic control devices, signs; 969 m permanent pavement markings; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 50 km N of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Work shall be completed by 10-26-01. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at prime rate.
