The ammunition contains lead-free components, which allows for a clean training environment. Delivery will be required to be made within 180 days from award of contract. All responsible interested sources are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualification data in regard to the above no later than 27 Apr 2001 to Commander, U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, ATTN: AMSTA-AQ-APD, Mary Ann Moreau, Bldg. 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07805-5000. It is anticipated that a formal solicitation will be generated at a later date and a solicitation notice will be published. It is anticipated that these cartridges will be purchased on a sole source basis from SNC TEC, Canada based on the fact that they are the only known firm with a qualified round. Other sources who would be interested in submitting a proposal, will be responsible to qualify their round at their own expense in order to be considered for award. See Note 25.
