Description
The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of at least one vehicle to be exported to Central America. This procurement is a small business set aside and a solicitation. No additional information will be mailed out. Vendors with questions may fax directly to the Contracting Officer, listed above. The vehicle required is a super duty wagon passenger van and the generic specifications are listed as follows: Color white is required, extended wagon 15 passenger capacity, wheelbase 138", 7.3L V8 cyl. turbo diesel engine H.D. 140 amp, alternator engine block heater, automatic transmission, 4 speed w/overdrive, power steering and power brakes with discs, F&R anti lock braking system XL Trim, dual exterior mirrors (5) LT 245/5R16 BSW radial tires 16" styled steel wheels front/rear air conditioning high capacity with auxiliary rear heater, solar-tinted glass, radio am/fm stereo premium sound system digital clock, gauges: fuel level, oil pressure, temperature & voltmeter, handling package, including front stabilizer bar, h.d. F&R shock absorbers, H.D. Fr &RR bumper, third rear stop light, side entry panel doors and rear cargo panel doors, deluxe insulation package windows all around intermittent w/s wipers safety blts driver's side air bag, passenger side air bag, dual reclining FR bucket seats (3) three passenger bench seats, (1) four passenger bench seat. The Govt. will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation contained herein and is most advantageous to the Govt, ie. that which represents the Best Value to the Govt. All offers which are rated technically sufficient will then be evaluated for cost/price and delivery time ARO. The proposed cost or price must be reasonable and reflect technical requirements. The Govt. may award to other than the lowest priced offer, if the delivery time for the lowest priced offer is significantly longer as defined by the Govt. THESE VEHICLES ARE URGENTLY REQUIRED. In the event that two or more offers are technically equivalent, the the cost/price and delivery time ARO become primarily important. Total prices quoted must be FOB price to Port of Miami, FL.
