Description

The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Centrifugal Casting Machine Co.The contrator will supply a Model AM-12-16-WC Water Cooled Centrifugal Casting Machine for making castings up to approximately 10" (250mm) outside diame and from 3" to 13" (75mm to 330mm) in length complete with the following: 6"(150mm) stroke dual pneumatic clamping cylinders with cylinder safety lock valve, 18" (457mm) maximum opening between faceplates, Jet Water Mold Cooling with manual water valves, water guard, Runner Pot on swingingsupport stand, belt guard, extractor tool, spray gun, spray lance with guide and bracket, five gallon (18.9L)agitator tank with fluid regulatorand 10 foot hose,digital tachometer, 7 1/2 hp (5.6kw) electronically controlled variable speed drive with brake and TEFC motor for operation on plant voltage, 3 phase, 60 hertz power. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Anticipated award is on or about 4/25/01.
