Description

Commander, Naval Special Warfare Group One: intends to issue a Sole Source Purchase to, Applied Maine Technology (AMTI), to develop Command's IT Enterprise Management System, web-based products and maintain the IT Life Cycle and Management System. The Government intends to Purchse the following services as follows: life-Cycle Management Support, performance period: 1 May 2001 -- 30 April 2002. The contractor will require a SECRET clearance. Support Tasks: 3.1, Update IT Stategic Plan. The contractor shall assist in updating the IT Strategic Plan. 3.2, IT Management Directives/IT Management instructions, the contractor shall assist in the update and finalization of all instructions. 3.3, Approved products lists, the contractor will advise and assist in the establishment and updating of th approved list. 3.4, Portfolio Management Process, the contractor shall advise and assist in the updating and management of the process. 3.5, Process Development, assist Deputy N6 in development of a roadmap of when and how th N6 Departmnet will participate in core of Command. 3.6, other advisory Functions, the contractor will advise the NAVSPECWARCOM staff on other it related tasks and developments. Programming Support Tasks as follows: period of performance: 1 June 2001 -- 31 May 2001, 3.1, Developing and Supporting Web Pages, the contractor shall develop and maintain web pages using HTML and active server internet protocols. 3.2, Design and Maintain Database, the contractor shall design and maintain database for tracking the configuration of IT assets. This task includes the collection of data and loading data into database. 3.3, Other Advisory Functions, the contractor will advise the NAVSPECWARCOM staff on other IT related tasks and developments. Work to be performed at the on-site location: Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command, 2002 Trident Way, NAB Coronado, San Diego, CA 92155. Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)/ Government Furnished Information (GFI): Desk space and chair, computer equipment with standard desktop software, required web and datdbase development applications, E-Mail and internet access. Travel: the contactor will provide an estimate of the cost for contractor travel when required. Tavel buy the contarctor personnell is authorized as required in th performance of assigned task and is subject to prior approval by Deputy N6 or his representative. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with Joint Tarvel Regulaions and /or accepted good business practice. All tarvel will be funded separate. SIC 73761, NAICS 541511, FAC 97-24. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation that will be issued. A seperate written Solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number: Q0007401RC64AC3, applies to this proposal. Closing Date: 26 April 2001, Time: 0800, Pacfic Time. Commercial procedures as outlined in FAR 12 and in accordance with FAR 13 are applicable. Prospective contractor after 13 may 1998, must be Central Central Contractor Registered (CCR), DFARS 204.7302. FAR 52.214(i), Payment will be made by Government Credit Card. The Government intends to Solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Intreasted parties may indentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting quotes.The notice of intent is not a request for competive quotations. However, all quotations received by closing of request for quotations aset forth from above will be considered by the Government. A determination by thwe Government not to compete witrh this proposed contract based upon resopnse to this notice is solely within the discration of th Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose odf determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
