Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items, in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemeted with information in this notice. Is set aside for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit and offer. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation that will be issued, a seperate written Solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number: Q4825410960P09, applies and is issued for proposal. Closing date: is: 25 April 2001, Time: 0800, Pacific Time. This Solicitation will be in accordance with incorporated with provisions and clauses that Acquisition Circular: 97-24, the Standard Industrial code is: 5065 and the NAICS Code is: 42169. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with FAR 12 and in conjunction with FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition procedures. The Government intends to Purchase the folowing commercial items: (Surefire Institute or Equal), 48 each, P/N 628N, divable to 44 foot, light switch for constatnt on/off on rght side of grip and a pressure pad on/off switch right side. Hardened switches to prevent underwater activation, for use on the H & K, MP-5N. 48 each, P/N 6602, divable to 44 foot, light for constant on/off and one pressure switch. Hardened switches to prevent underwater activation. For use on the M-4A1 & Remmington 870, 12Ga Shotgun. 48 each, P/N 632R, divable to 44 foot, light switch for constant on/off & pressure switch mounted to pistol grip. Must fit the Safariland Tactical Holster Model: 6004. Hardened switches to prevent submersion activation. For use on the Sig Saur P226, 9MM hand gun.
