Description

Due to a protracted delay in entering into the System Development and Demonstration phase of the NSD-A/APL-A Program, TACOM-ARDEC intends to award the following Bridge Efforts: (1) a modification to Alliant Techsystems, Inc. (ATK), Hopkins, MN Phase I, Concept and Technology Development contract for the Initiation of Non Lethal Munitions (DAAE30-01-Q-0142), (2) a modification to Textron Systems Corp. (TSC), Wilmington, MA Phase I, Concept and Technology Development contract for Alternatives to Target Activation (DAAE30-01-Q-0143), (3) a new contract to ATK for an Enhanced Grenade Launcher (DAAE30-01-R-0105), and (4) a new contract to TSC for a Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM)/Communication Security (COMSEC) effort (DAAE30-01-R-0106). TACOM-ARDEC is staffing a Class J&A for these efforts utilizing the authority of FAR 6-302-1, Only One Responsible Source. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
