Description

17. The Department of State (DTS-PO) is in the process of activating a new Western European Network (WEN). In order to fully utilize the WEN, the DTS-PO plans to hub other nearby posts into this network for onward connectivity. The modeling effort to select appropriate entry posts will utilize both technical merit and pricing. The information requested is for ROM pricing for full-time, end-to-end E-1 circuits between each location (embassy). Please access the Department of State, State Buy Page (http://www.statebuy.gov) to find the general description of the WEN, a sample of technical specifications for the circuits, and matrices for the requested information. It is not the intent of the DTS-PO to use the requested pricing for award purposes, rather for use as a modeling tool and other configuration purposes. It is requested that responses be submitted within 30 days of posting this RFI. This is not a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or an Announcement of a Solicitation.
