Description

RFP SP4400-01-R-0014, Service Contract for all fees, labor, packaging, removal, transportation and disposal of compressed gas cylinders located at any Department of Defense Facility within the 48 contiguous States. SP4400-01-R-0014 will be issued on the World Wide Web (WWW) on or about June 1, 2001 and approximate closing date is no earlier than July 01, 2001. The website address is http://www.drms.dla.mil/newproc/indes.html. All offers submitted on SP4400-01-R-0014 must be submitted in an electronic media only. This solicitation will result in at least two(2) idefinite task order type contracts for a base period of 18 months with two(2) 18 month option periods. Competitive task orders will be issued between those firms who are successful in receiving awards. Special qualifications: Prospective contractors or subcontractors must be able to meet all federal, state, local laws, ordinances and regulations governing handling, transportation and disposal of compressed gas cylinders. All contractors will be required to demonstrate their ability to service any DOD activity within the 48 contiguous states.
