Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to The Computer Merchant Ltd, 95 Longwater Circle, Norwell MA 02061 to provide on-site support for the DEC/Alpha Open VMS Platform. Contractor should have extensive knowledge and experience with the following software products: Application Control and Management System, COBOL, CDL, DECset Tools, DECforms, Fortran, Intelligent Query, Oracle CDD/Repository, Oracle Rdb, Rdb Management Utility, PakManager, PKZIP-Alpha, SAS, SQL and Terminal Data Management System Emulator. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is past performance by the contractor which has provided knowledge of the application environment that cannot be replicated. Period of performance will be through September 30, 2001. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations; no solicitation will be issued.
