Description

The Department is interested in acquiring services for the operation of the Headquarters Library, which consists of general and law collections. The contractor_s responsibilities include the purchase of publications for retention in HUD Headquarters offices as well as those included in the HUD Library_s reference and circulating collections. The period of performance will be an initial period of one (1) year, with four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation will be available on or about May 31, 2001. The closing date for receipt of offers will be addressed therein. HUD posts all required notices of its contracting opportunities on its Internet Home Page Contracting Opportunities site. HUD is currently phasing-in its new Electronic Source List (ESL) service. Using this free service, offerors will be able to register for automatic e-mail notifications whenever amendments are made to a specific solicitation downloaded by the offeror. The list of sources who have registered will be posted to this site. If you are interested in subcontracting opportunities, you will be able to view the list and contact the registered sources to market your services. The solicitations identified as "ESL available" offer this free service. To receive these notifications, offerors must click on the link for e-mail notification where prompted in the RFP announcement on the HUD website. Otherwise, offerors are advised to check the website frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to any solicitation you may have downloaded.
