Description

This requirement is for the lease and maintenance of washer and dryers for both Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis, TX. The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and all necessary services for furnishing, installing, and maintaining commercial type heavy duty washers and dryers. Current quantities are 351 washers, 60 gas dryers, 235 electric dryer, and 37 stackable gas dryers. All equipment shall be brand new machines. The solicitation will be issued on or about 23 Apr 01 with an anticipated closing date of 4 May 01. It should be noted that these dates are "on or about" and are not firm at this point. Period of performance is expected to be 1 Jun 01 thru 31 May 02 with four additional one year options. Request for solicitations must be in writing, no phone request will be honored. There is a nominal fee of $10.00 per solicitation package. Checks or Money Orders shall be made out to the U.S. Treasury. This fee is not refundable.
