Description

CBD ANNOUNCEMENT SN50G2H1 IS HEREBY SUPERCEDED. THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE UNRESTRICTED. THE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IS WITHDRAWN. This project will install approximately 1820 meters (approximately 1220 meters by open trenching and approximately 600 meters by horizontal directional drilling across the channel) of 500 mm (outer diameter) high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) to convey wastewater from Ford Island pump station FI-042 to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard pump station SY-001 and upgrade the pumping capacity of pump station FI-042 and incidental related work. Upgrade of pumping station includes new wastewater pumps of higher capacity, upgrade of the ventilation system, a new building to house a motor control center and back-up diesel generator with double walled fuel tank, new valves with valve pit, and new flow meter. Work also includes installation of government furnished radio frequency SCADA system. Estimated range from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The contract performance period is 720 calendar days. THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE IS 23491 AND AVERAGE ANNUAL RECEIPTS IS $27.5 MILLION. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. This is a source selection procurement requiring both technical and price proposals. Contract award will be made to the offeror proposing the best value to the Government from a technical and price standpoint. Price is considered approximately equal to the technical evaluation factors. Technical evaluation factors are as follows: (1) Experience/Past Performance; (2) Experience of Key Personnel; and (3) Construction Management Plan. The Request for Proposal (RFP), CD-ROM only, will be available on or about 17 April 2001 for a non-refundable charge of $67.92. Companies wanting the RFP to be sent via air express service must furnish their express service airbill label with the recipient's name, telephone no., company name, address, company's account no., and type of delivery filled in. Failure to provide any of the above information, as indicated, may delay the processing of your request and is at no fault of the Government.
