Description

Reconstruction the breakwater at the Knutson Dam Site on Cass Lake in Beltrami County, MN. Heavy damaged occurred during the high water event in 1999. Contract will remove steel sheet pile, where feasible, and place heavy rock riprap to construct a protected boat landing area. Contractor will be responsible for meeting all state and federal clean water requirements. Contractor will procure needed material and dispose of debris generated in execution of the project off federal land, in a manner consistent with state and federal laws. Desired date for starting work is October 1, 2001. Completion date is March 31, 2002.
