Description

The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC is seeking qualified producers for an estimated production of 650,000 M782 MOFA Fuzes over a period of four (4) years from FY02 to FY05. The M782 is the multi option fuze for artillery, which provides four modes of operation (point detonating, delay, time, and proximity. This fuze is intended for use with all bulk filled artillery munitions used in 105mm and 155mm howitzer systems. Any responsible or interested source shall submit their qualifications and capabilities within fifteen (15) calendar days of this published notice. All interested firms with experience in the high rate manufacturing of electronic proximity (RF Dopler) fuzes should provide, at no cost to the Government, a summary of their firm s capabilities, storage facilities, successful experience in manufacturing, loading, assembling and packing similar ammunition, and whether the company is large or small business This information may be mailed to Kevin J.
