Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a Competitive basis,132 each -- Aluminum Alloy Forged Rings, 6061-T6, in accordance with SAE-AMS 4127. Nominal dimensions of rings should be 14 inches outside diameter, 10.25 inches inside diameter and 10 inches length. NOTE: Items should be forged oversize to protect finish size of 13.743" OD, 10.7" ID, and 9.875" length. This is a small purchase, small business set aside. The NAICS number is 331319 and the size standard is 750. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is N68936-01-T-0137. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. Delivery is required on or before 01 September 2001. NAWS China Lake, CA FOB point is Destination.
