Description

The Range Instrumentation System Program Office (RISPO), Support Branch, plans to award a sole source contract to Geodetics for testing of an innovative suite of software modules that implement Epoch-by-Epoch GPS positioning. The supplies and services being acquired will be used to test the accuracy of Epoch-by-Epoch positioning algorithms by comparing position and velocity output data against ground truth data derived from the calibrated track. The central feature of this technology is a high accuracy positioning solution that is based on instantaneous integer ambiguity resolution. Geodetics has developed proprietary software to achieve this accuracy. The supplies and services procured will include test preparation, test support and test reporting and analysis to verify the Geodetics software algorithms performance on a Government owned and instrumented test track. This software verification testing is necessary to provide input to the final requirements development for the FY02 CTEIP funded Enhanced Range Applications Program (ENRAP). The testing will be accomplished during fourth quarter FY01 with completion during first quarter FY02 for input to the ENRAP competitive procurement. The use of the test track, which is critical to success of the test, can only be scheduled summer FY01. The Geodetics Epoch-by-Epoch software is fully developed and currently available for use in supporting the Government testing. Due to these factors this procurement will be sole source to Geodetics. The anticipated fixed price will be valued at approximately $80,000.00. Sole source award is anticipated in Jun 01.
