- NSN 6625013868852, P/N 5790A/AF030OPT; Commercial item description (cid) #207.0; noun, a.c. Voltage calibrator; salient characteristics-voltage calibrator with scale up to and including 1000 volts at the frequency range of 10 hz to 1mhz, shall include a wideband option that extends its operation to 30 mhz. This equipment shall operate from nominal commercial, military, and shipboard power sources of 100, 110, 120, 200, 220, 240 volts ac +/- 10% at line frequencies of 50 hz to 60 hz power consumption shall not exceed 100 volt-amperes. Transient state conditions shall meet or exceed mill-prf-28800 requirements for the classification specified herein. The equipment mean time between failures shall be a minimum of 2000 hours. Local note "b", ombudsman applies: "all potential offerors should contact the buyer/pco identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
